Men’s Shed Guernsey is a community workshop and social space where people share skills, work on practical projects, enjoy conversation and make friends. Woodworking, metalworking and restoration are part of it, but the real purpose is good mental health, less isolation, and companionship. No practical skills are needed, and you don’t have to do any workshop activity at all: some members come for the company and a cup of tea. Newcomers can just turn up and will be shown around, then asked to join as a member. Friends and carers are welcome; on the men-only sessions they also need to be male. “Never expected, always welcome.”
