The Natter Network
The Natter Network is a UK-wide telephone friendship service for people aged 65 and over. Members set up a profile online and are matched with someone based on shared interests, not location, so members anywhere, including Guernsey, can take part. You then speak by ordinary telephone once a week for 15-30 minutes, no app or computer needed. Calls connect through the Network so no one sees the other person’s real phone number, and identity is checked before any introduction.
Cost Both free and paid options available — see source for details.
